ECOPOWER is a private company working in PV sector as dealer of PV equipment (modules, inverters, boxes etc…).
Founded in 2007 Ecopower as been acquired by IRISAT and now it is part of a group of companies active in the renewable energy sector as designers and EPC contractors.
In its experience more than 10 MW of PV projects, as consultant and/or equipments supplier.
The company as importer of PV modules is member of the international consortium PV cycle responsible for the final collection, recycling and final destination of PV panels produced or imported by its members. The company will improve its participation in the consortium and it is applying to become a recognized collection point for broken or exhausted PV modules.
Since 2012 Ecopower is cooperating with the University of Rome “La Sapienza” testing new technologies to recycle PV panels of different technologies: crystalline silicon or thin film (amorphous silicon, cadmium telluride, CIGS).
